BCCI confirmed on Monday (03 December) that The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the 12th season for year 2019 will be held in Jaipur City of India on December 2018. A maximum of 70 slots available for auction, from these 50 Indian players and 20 oversees players will be allowed to be picked up with eight teams left with a total cost of Rs 145.25 crore.
KXIP has the maximum amount left to 11 players from their pool. Defending champions CSK can buy only two players. Apart from KXIP, Delhi Daredevils, Rajasthan Royals and KKR are also expected to buy lot for their team.
The IPL 2019 edition may be held outside of India, may be partially or completely, if it clashes with the general elections 2019 of India.
